Speak Up: Derbywood residents besieged by turkey vultures

Residents of Derbywood, adjacent to Derby Pond in Camden, feel like they have been trapped in an Alfred Hitchcock film for three years. Looking out their windows, all they can see are “The Birds.” The neighborhood has been besieged by huge turkey vultures that perch atop houses and other structures, often leading to destruction of property.
