The prevalence of disabilities in adults in the United States is on the rise, and the frequency of the conditions in African American communities in Delaware exceeds that of other such areas across the country by approximately 7%.

The program will feature a panel of representatives from the Disabilities Law Program of the Community Legal Aid Society; author, advocate and activist Davon “D” Marque Hall; Shannon Wright, a disabilities support counselor at Delaware Technical Community College; and national disability advocate, mentor and trainer S.
