SMYRNA — A 25-year-old man was in stable condition after being wounded in a shooting incident Monday, Smyrna Police spokesman Lt. Brian Donner said.
Authorities said that at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Sequoia Drive for a reported shooting. The wounded man was located nearby in a yard in the 300 block of Braddock Road, Lt. Donner said.
Police said the man had suffered a gunshot wound to his upper extremities and officers began medical intervention. EMS arrived a short time later and transported him to an area hospital for treatment.
