SEAFORD — A 58-year-old Seaford man died Tuesday from injuries suffered in a vehicle collision last month.
Delaware State Police said the man was driving a Ford F-150 when it collided with a Chevrolet box truck at 3:02 p.m. Nov. 3. The box truck had failed to remain stopped at a stop sign on Woodland Ferry Road, at the intersection of Woodpecker Road, police said.
The driver of the box truck, as well as a passenger, were transported to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The F-150’s driver and his passenger were not wearing seat belts, police said. They suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital, where the driver died.
On Thursday, police identified the victim as Edward Jones.
The Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate and asks witnesses to contact Master Cpl. K. Argo at 302-703-3264, to send a message via the state police Facebook page or to call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-847-3333.
