Salisbury Zoo flamingo photo wins Wicomico County 2021 photo contest
Wicomico County Tourism is pleased to announce the winners of its 2021 Photo Contest.
A record number of entries were submitted for this year’s contest. A committee selected the winners from more than 400 entries.
The 1st-place photo, by Chris Moreland, is of a flamingo at the Salisbury Zoo.
The 2nd-place honor was awarded to Bob Debski for a photo of a colorful sunrise in Whitehaven.
Ferrell Santacroce earned 3rd place for a photo of people fishing at Cedar Hill Marina and Park.
Winners will receive cash prizes and the opportunity for their photos to be displayed on the Wicomico County Tourism website and in the next published Wicomico County Visitors Guide. Moreland’s photo will also be featured in a Wicomico County Tourism e-newsletter.
