Run for the Arts 5K back in Milford
MILFORD – The seventh annual Run for the Arts 5K will be Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. starting at Bicentennial Park on Front Street in downtown Milford.
The race fee is $25 before Nov. 1 at 10 p.m. and $30 the day of the race. Runners can register online at www.seashorestriders.com.
Race shirts will be given to those who pre-register. There will be limited availability after the Monday of the race week.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Mispillion Art League, a nonprofit founded in 2004 in Milford. The organization seeks to provide community-wide access to quality visual arts programs.
They offer around 80 youth and adults classes annually and host public exhibits year-round as well as educational opportunities to elderly and special-needs community members.
They offer art classes through KSI, Salvation Army Creative heARTS and Home of the Brave Foundation for Veterans.
