REHOBOTH BEACH — On June 16, the city’s Board of Commissioners adopted a real estate tax rate of 6 cents per $100 of assessed value for the tax year that begins July 1.
This rate has remained unchanged for four years in Rehoboth.
Property tax bills are mailed in late June, with payments due Aug. 31.
The city expects to take in approximately $2 million in property tax revenue this year, accounting for less than 6% of the city’s $35.7 million fiscal year 2024 budget.
