Question of the Day: Legislative fireworks

Posted

Here is the Question of the Day:

The final days of Delaware General Assembly included dramatic negotiations in the House of Representatives concerning House Bill 121, which would allow nonresident owners of artificial entities to vote in Seaford municipal elections. When the legislation failed, House Republicans abstained from voting on the must-pass bond bill and left the chamber. House Minority Leader Mike Ramone said Republicans would continue to hold off on their support of the spending proposal if HB 121 wasn’t approved by the House. The bill was passed and sent to the Senate, but lawmakers there took no action on it. What legislation did you track during this session?
