QOTD: What does the Air Force base mean to central Delaware?

Posted

Here is today’s Question of the Day:

Col. Matt Husemann, the Dover Air Force Base’s 436th Airlift Wing commander, will relinquish command to Col. William McDonald during a ceremony July 7. Col. Husemann has served as commander since June 2021. He is departing to serve as vice superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. Col. McDonald most recently served as vice commander of the 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. How do changes at the base affect our area?
