QOTD: Should low-speed vehicles be allowed on town streets?

Here is the Question of the Day:

Millsboro Town Council voted not to proceed with a charter amendment that would allow an ordinance permitting modified golf carts on town-owned streets in residential subdivisions. Currently state law allows DMV-registered lower speed vehicles (LSVs) on streets with speed limit of 35 mph. What do you think about LSVs being allowed on town streets with low speed limits?
