CAMDEN — Positive Outcomes Charter School and ParentCamp, a national non-profit, announce the first ParentCamp from 5:15-7:15 p.m. Jan. 24 at the school.

The program is part of an initiative sponsored by the Delaware Department of Education to increase family and community engagement in schools.

Details and link to register can be found at https://bit.ly/PositiveOutcomesPC1

Sessions at Positive Outcome Charter School’s inaugural ParentCamp will include:

  • What are my Hopes and Dreams for my Child?
  • Let’s talk Mental Health and Resilience
  • Building Home and School Relationships!
  • Building a Vibrant Positive Outcomes (POCS) Community

“ParentCamp brings together everyone connected with a school in an open, caring community where participants are encouraged to share their personal experiences and expertise,” said Julie Pile, ParentCamp President.

“People are often surprised by what they can contribute to the conversations, with their life experiences offering insights and inspiration to others in the room, and hence to the larger school ecosystem.”
