DOVER — Investigation into the death of a 43-year-old Dover found at a recycling area Monday is ongoing, Delaware State Police said.
According to police, Recycling Management Resources employees found Daniel W. Devol-Neidig dead in a processing area in the facility at 100 Amber Road in Wilmington. The discovery wa made at approximately 1:30 p.m., police said.
Authorities said they are seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information. The cause of death is unknown currently, and the autopsy results are pending, police said.
Mr. Devol-Neidig was last seen on Monday, Oct. 2, when he was released from Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, police said.
Detectives asked anyone with information about Mr. Devol-Neidig’s whereabouts or activities before the discovery of his body to contact Detective J. Lucyk of the Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit by calling 302-365-8446. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
