Police identify Georgetown man who died from crash injuries
By MILLSBORO — The Delaware State Police have identified the man who died from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash Sunday as Marco Flores-Velasquez, 26, of Georgetown.
Police said Mr. Flores-Velasquez was driving a vehicle that left Harmons Hill Road and crashed into a metal utility pole at approximately 1:33 a.m. He was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to injuries, authorities said.
The Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this collision. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to please contact Sgt. J. Burns by calling 302-703-3269.
