Police identify Clayton woman in fatal crash Saturday

SMYRNA — Delaware State Police have identified the 47-year-old Clayton woman as the victim in a crash Saturday.
Christina Thompson was driving a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed at approximately 9:19 p.m. when it failed to negotiate a curve on Wheatleys Pond Road and traveled into a ditch before crashing, authorities said.
Police said Ms. Thompson was transported to an area hospital, where she died.
