Photo Gallery: Wicomico veterans memorialized
One of the community’s most venerable public gatherings was held Monday -- the Wicomico County Memorial Day Ceremony -- after being canceled in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. As part of the 18th annual ceremony, there was a lowering of the colors by the Wicomico County JROTC, ringing of the Red Knights Memorial Bell, branch prayers, and a volley of arms by the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office.
