By Glenn RolfeMILLSBORO – Cries of “Play ball” at the Millsboro Little League on West State Street gave way to “ooohs and ahhhs” Saturday evening during the patriotic conclusion of the Stars & Stripes community celebration and fireworks show.
The event, presented annually by the Greater Millsboro Chamber of Commerce with supporting sponsors, drew a huge turnout of vendors and spectators.
The previous Stars & Stripes celebrations were held at Cupola Park in Millsboro.
