GEORGETOWN - The 87th Oyster Eat, an event staged annually by the Georgetown Fire Company, played out Friday evening.

Hundreds of patrons packed the engine bay area for raw and steamed oysters, egg salad sandwiched, hot dogs, beer and blue grass music provided by Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass.

Special tribute was paid to the late Terry Megee, a longtime supporter of  the Oyster Eat event, the fire company and the Georgetown community. Mr. Megee passed away last July.
