On March 4, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition hosted the Lights of Life Gala at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort. It was the organization’s first Lights of Life gala post-pandemic. This year’s Lights of Life Going Back to the 80s Gala offered supporters an opportunity to rock their favorite 80s trends, celebrate life and survivorship, and to raise money for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

The event’s Survivor Showcase featured 12 breast cancer survivors, 11 women and one man. The Survivor Showcase highlights the importance of breast health and education as well as early detection. Survivors from different walks of life shared their stories with the disease and how the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s survivor programs help them live life to the fullest.

Emcee Chelsea Clark and disc jockey Sky Brady kept the energy high throughout the night. Special guests included longtime supporters of DBCC, Sen. Dave Wilson and David Skocik.
