Part of Sussex history, Kitty Cole showered with 100th-birthday wishes

In honor of her 100th birthday, July 7 is Kitty T. Cole Day, as proclaimed by the city of Rehoboth Beach.
In addition, on Tuesday, with gifts and a similar proclamation, Sussex County Council honored Ms. Cole, whose short stint on council kept intact what would become her family’s nearly 50 years as part of the governing body.
