O'Dell: Don’t forget Republicans’ reaction to 2020 election

Mr. George Roof’s latest essay on how awful Democrats are opens with the question: “Have you ever seen the whining, moaning and heart wrenching we’ve seen in Democrats after the 2024 election?” (“It’s Democrats’ turn to live with consequences”).

Why, yes, I think we have. When Donald Trump lost in 2020, he and his minions not only whined and moaned and wrenched their hearts — they refused to accept their defeat and actually stormed the Capitol in an unconstitutional attempt to prevent Congress from certifying the outcome.
