No injuries occur in Hartly shooting incident

HARTLY — No injuries occurred as an unknown suspect fired several rounds at a house Tuesday from a passing vehicle, Delaware State Police said.

Authorities said that at approximately 4 a.m. troopers responded to a residence on the 2000 block of Slaughter Station Road for a shots fired report. Troopers recovered numerous shell casings at the scene, police said.

There were two adults in the home at the time of the shooting. The motive behind the incident remains under investigation, police said.
