Police: One arrest, no injuries in post-graduation fight at Sussex Central

GEORGETOWN — One arrest was made and no injuries reported in connection with a fight following Sussex Central High School’s graduation Tuesday, Delaware State Police said.

Spokesman Senior Cpl. Leonard DeMalto said the altercation occurred around 8:45 p.m. outside the school, and it was broken up by officers. He added that it is unknown how many people were involved.

Police initially reported that no arrests resulted from the fight.

The cause of the incident is also unknown, Cpl. DeMalto said.
