NASCAR set to roar back into Dover in May 2022

NASCAR will only come knocking on the door of Dover International Speedway one time again in 2022, when the racetrack hosts the Drydene 400 NASCAR Cup Series on May 1. It will mark the second consecutive year that Dover will have only one NASCAR weekend, after hosting two races per year from 1971 until 2020.

The state of Delaware — who keeps giving them tax breaks — employees, vendors and other local businesses are the ones who lost in this deal.
