Milford to host open house on Walnut St. improvements

Posted

MILFORD — The city will host a public meeting April 4 about implementing traffic-calming measures and improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities on South Walnut Street.

The gathering will be held at City Hall, 201 S. Walnut St., from 6-8 p.m.

The area of study is from Maple Avenue to McCoy Street. City representatives will be available to gather feedback and answer questions from residents.

An earlier meeting was held in December to gather input on initial concepts. The April open house will include updates to those original plans.

The recommendations will be used to develop construction for city and/or state capital projects in Milford. Information can be found at cityofmilford.com/563/6342/current-studiesprojects.

Questions should be directed to planning director Rob Pierce at 302-424-8395 or rpierce@milford-de.gov.
