Milford Rotary Club offering scholarships

MILFORD — The Milford Rotary Club Educational Foundation is offering seven separate scholarships and two scholarship renewals to high school students in the greater Milford area.

A $2,500 scholarship for Trade Training was added to the list of offerings.
In addition to this new scholarship, the Milford Rotary Club is offering six $2,500 scholarships and renewing two $2,000 scholarships.
This year’s scholarships are:

  • Rotary Traditional scholarship at $2,500
  • Rotary Warnell scholarship at $2,500
  • Rotary Interact scholarship at $2,500
  • Rotary Service Above Self scholarship at $2,500
  • Rotary Perseverance scholarship at $2,500
  • William Warren scholarship at $2,500
  • Donovan Trade Training scholarship at $2,500
  • Renewals of Garbutt Family Trust scholarships at $2,000 each

All scholarships are judged on the criteria of the student’s leadership, character, and citizenship, academic achievement, and the quality of an original essay but each scholarship may have additional specific requirements.

All scholarship applicants must reside in the service area of the Milford Rotary Club which includes the Milford School District. Graduating seniors in public, charter, parochial, or private schools or home-schooled seniors must submit their applications by April 20.

Children and grandchildren of Milford Rotary Club members are not eligible.
