I mostly agree with Mr. Frank Daniels, who feels our democracy is in danger (“Why are Democrats trying to destroy democracy?”). We differ a tad about who is doing the destruction.
He bemoans that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are being portrayed as kidnapping people off the streets and sending them to concentration camps. Is that not what we’re seeing on a regular basis in the news? (Oh, sorry: They are “detention centers.”)
Our Supreme Court is reining in our political judicial system? It has given our would-be dictator carte blanche to do whatever he pleases and essentially said he is above the law.
Daniels doesn’t like the “judicial decisions” of our representatives in Congress? To my knowledge, they can comment on them, but they have no power to change them.
He worries about the Constitution. Is that the document our leader says he “doesn’t know” if he should adhere to?
But the best part? We are getting “lies and misinformation” on a daily basis from Democrats! If ever the true situation was flipped on its head, this is it!
I’m 82 years old, so I know there is a good chance I’ll not see how this (to me) disaster of an administration ultimately evolves. But, right now, “destroying democracy” seems spot-on.
