Mayer: Are we ready for Trump to command military?

Though I am not a veteran, I agree with Mr. Steve Caporiccio and his rebuttal to Col. Frank Daniels concerning the latter’s support of Mr. Donald Trump (“How can a veteran support Trump?”).

One question continues to bother me as I read about and watch Mr. Trump’s actions and divisive rhetoric in his disjointed speeches, while hawking golden sneakers and $100,000 watches: Are you comfortable with this man being the commander in chief of a military establishment that ranks among the largest in human history?
