Main Street in Newark to close for National Night Out
NEWARK — East Main Street will be closed from 3-10 p.m. Tuesday for National Night Out.
To allow for social distancing, this event will utilize both Main and Academy streets.
Main Street’s alfresco dining, typically on Wednesdays from 4-9, will take place Tuesday, as well, in conjunction with National Night Out.
NNO, held on the first Tuesday of every August, is a community-building campaign that promotes police-resident partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
Snacks and drinks, donated by Wawa and Deer Park Tavern, will be available at the event.
