OCEAN VIEW — The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays announces the inaugural James Farm Photo Challenge Oct. 13-14 at the 150-acre James Farm Ecological Preserve.

Nature enthusiasts and photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this 2-day "live" photography competition.

Participating photographers may submit photos across three categories: landscape/seascape, human connection, and wildlife.

All images must be taken between Oct. 13-14. The entry fee is $25 for adults and $10 for youth, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays.

Winners will be chosen in both adult and youth categories, with grand prize winners receiving a prize package including gift cards and Center merchandise, plus their photographs displayed at the Center offices for one year.

"Delaware is such an amazing place for wildlife photography and our Inland Bays provide a critical habitat for wildlife. They are home to horseshoe crabs, diamondback terrapins, a wide variety of shorebirds, gulls, waterfowl, and so much more. So the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, with all it does to protect vital habitats, was the first organization that came to mind for this unique ‘live’ photo competition” said Sharon Denny, photographer and co-sponsor of the event.

This event is made possible through the generous support of the Coastal Camera Club, Sharon Denny Photography, and the Rehoboth Art League
