Smyrna church hears how Operation Christmas Child box brought Cambodian girl hope

It’s an image that has been entrenched in Kimheang Vance’s mind since she was a 14-year-old growing up in poverty-stricken, war-torn Cambodia.

Though she could not read the words on the red, white and green shoebox, there was a logo signifying that it was part of the annual Operation Christmas Child gift drive conducted by the nonprofit Samaritan’s Purse organization.
