Lewes Social Security office moving to new location
GEORGETOWN — The Lewes Social Security office will relocate to its new location at 17 Georgetown Plaza April 15.
Business operations at 12001 Old Vine Boulevard in Lewes will end at noon April 12.
People needing to conduct their Social Security business in person before the new Georgetown location opens may visit one of the following Social Security offices:
- Dover - 655 South Bay Road, Suite 3J
- Wilmington - 920 West Basin Road
- Salisbury - 2414 Northgate Drive, Suite 1
Social Security office hours are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Many Social Security services are available online at ssa.gov or by dialing toll-free, 1-800-772-1213. People who are deaf or hard of hearing may call Social Security’s TTY number, 1-800-325-0778.
