Lewes author donates plant-based eating course to UD’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Posted

LEWES — Thanks to a donation from Lewes resident Dorothy Greet, members of the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will be able to explore the benefits of plant-based eating.

Ms. Greet, a retired clergywoman, used her experience of having a heart attack at age 70 to develop a 2.5-hour course focused on improving health and longevity through plant-based eating. She donated her online course, called “Journey to Wellness,” so members may view it at their convenience.

The institute offers more than 300 live and recorded online courses as well as in-person classes in Dover, Lewes, Ocean View and Wilmington. Fall semester classes begin on September 3.
