SEAFORD – Tracy Wagner, a 42-year-old from Laurel, was arrested following an alleged felony assault following a domestic incident that took place on Dec. 21 in Seaford, according to the Delaware State Police.
Troopers arrived at a residence on North Street for a report of an assault at around 10:35 a.m.
Following an investigation, troopers found that Ms. Wagner returned to her ex-boyfriend’s home after being instructed by troopers the night prior that she was not permitted on the property.
She allegedly proceeded to yell and knock on the door when her ex-boyfriend asked her to leave his property. As the man was closing the door, Ms. Wagner sprayed pepper spray into the home, which struck a 62-year-old resident.
Ms. Wagner then fled in an unknown gray car after she stole her ex-boyfriend’s car keys from his running car in the driveway.
Troopers checked the area and Ms. Wagner’s address but were unable to locate her. A warrant was obtained for her arrest.
Later the same day, she turned herself in at Troop 5 in Bridgeville, where she was charged with two counts of second-degree assault (felony), theft under $1,500, disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal trespass.
Ms. Wagner was released on a $7,250 unsecured bond.
