May I suggest that the politicians of Delaware worry more about roads and hospitals than windmills?
In response to the Opinion by Sen. Gerald Hocker, R-Ocean View, Sussex County is near critical mass with emergency health care and roads (“Leave local decisions to local leaders”). You keep allowing developers to create more housing, while doing nothing about care for the aging population coming to Delaware.
Emergency medical service providers are overworked and underpaid. Hospital staffing is dismal in Sussex. We have to rely on helicopters to get stroke victims the care they need.
I think windmills should be at the bottom of the “How to Better Care for the People of Sussex County” list.
