Knockout roses earn Milford Garden of Month honors

Posted

MILFORD — White azaleas, red knockout roses and yellow day lilies combine with “neat, crisp” landscaping to form the Milford Garden Club’s Garden of the Month for June.

Dany and Harriet Schurman took home the honors, the club’s Beautification Committee announced. Their 5 N. Horseshoe Drive garden has been thriving this summer, with variegated Liriope, a green hydrangea bush, barberry and other greenery.

“Both Dany and Harriet Schurman take pride in their beautiful yard,” the club said in a release, “and it shows.”
