Delaware Joint Legislative Council to vote on 2023 calendar

DOVER — The Joint Legislative Council will convene for its first meeting in over three months Thursday.

At the meeting, the council will be presented reports from the director of the Division of Research, Mark Cutrona, and from controller general Ruth Ann Jones. Afterward, it will consider new business, before voting on the legislature’s 2023 calendar.

The meeting will take place at 1 p.m. at Legislative Hall. Members of the public can watch by visiting here.

The date of the next meeting will be determined by the council’s co-chairs, Speaker of the House Pete Schwartzkopf, D-Rehoboth Beach, and Senate President Pro Tempore Dave Sokola, D-Newark, before today’s gathering concludes.

The council consists of leadership from the Senate and House of Representatives, and oversees the Division of Research and the Office of the Controller General.
