Graffagnino: How can we stop election ‘fixing’?

Posted

Much rhetoric has been posted about the dangers of another Trump administration in recent weeks. The most alarming comments from Donald Trump, to me, are regarding what he plans to do once taking over the White House. The following has not, to my knowledge, been highlighted by the press to any great degree.

At one of his rallies, he stated his plans regarding voting for his next presidency. To paraphrase, he said the following: “Once we win the election, we are going to ‘fix’ everything! You will never have to vote again. ... In fact, you don’t even have to vote this time!”

For me, that indicates that “the fix is in.” Already, there have been efforts in various states to eliminate qualified voters from their voting rolls. Each state has to certify the election results, which, in turn, determines who gets the Electoral College votes from that state. If that process is compromised, there will be no “fair” results of the 2024 election. If you recall, Trump’s mob attempted to do just that Jan. 6, 2021.

How can that be stopped? It certainly can’t be stopped after the results are in. So, how can we guarantee that the election results from each state are true and accurate? The FBI has agents in just about every state. I believe that the best solution would be to have an FBI agent appointed to participate in the certification process of each and every state. That way, we can guarantee that the results have been accurately posted.
