DOVER — While the furniture inside one burn room was incinerated beyond recognition, in the other were undamaged pieces.

Such was the difference between a five-minute blaze and one that’s controlled within moments by a fire sprinkler — a point made clear during a Monday presentation by Paul Eichler, chair of the Delaware Fire Sprinkler Coalition, at the Delaware Fire School.
