Felony arrests made after search in Dover

DOVER - Two men were arrested on felony charges after a search warrant execution Tuesday afternoon, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

Joshua Bryant, 31, of Dover, and Johnny Jones, 55, of Wilmington, were both taken into custody without incident following investigation into alleged drug activity at a residence in the 1000 block of South Bradford Street, police said.

The warrant was executed at approximately 2:04 p.m.

Police said Mr. Bryant was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, and Mr. Jones had 7.9 grams of crack cocaine.

Mr. Bryant was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, identity theft, and theft $1,500 or greater. He was released on unsecured bail. He was then committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on an outstanding capias.

Mr. Jones was charged with possession offenses including with intent to deliver cocaine, controlled substance in a Tier 1 quantity, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana (civil violation.) He was released on $13,100 unsecured bail.
