Eastern Sussex Democrats to meet Sept. 6 in Lewes
LEWES — The Eastern Sussex Democrats will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 at the Lewes Public Library.
Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner after the presentation. The cost is $25 per person.
Pay in advance at easternsussexdemocrats.com or reserve and pay at the door.
The guest speaker will be Sen. Sarah McBride, D-Wilmington, the first openly transgender state senator in the country making her the highest ranking transgender elected official in United States history. In June 2023 she announced that she is running for Delaware 's at large seat in Congress.
