Delaware State University fetes Tuskegee Airman by naming plane after him

The Delaware State University Aviation Program has long paid homage to the famed Tuskegee Airmen, with red tails painted on its aircraft.

In recent years, it has also been honoring individual pilots who flew combat missions for the group, by adorning their names on some of the program’s 26 planes.
