My wish is for Ms. Julia Sperry to be proud to be American (“Democrats can be Christians, too”). She is correct that Democrats can be Christian. Unfortunately, many have lost their way.
If you believe you can change the gender God gave people and if you believe that women should have abortions because they don’t have responsible sex, that is not Christian. This country treats immigrants well, except the ones who cross our border illegally. Even the Vatican has a wall as a border. Is the pope wrong? Due to many illegal immigrants taking benefits away from U.S. citizens, people aren’t getting what they need.
Do Democratic Christians like having no cash bail for criminals, so they can be released back into the community where they committed their crimes? Also, are the Christian Democrats looking for the missing children, many of whom are being trafficked into prostitution? Is that Christian?
