Dover to weigh federal funding for more firefighters

The city could soon seek federal funding to hire staff firefighters amid volunteer recruitment struggles, depending on the outcome of a council vote on Monday. The upcoming vote comes after the council voted to enroll in a pension plan for city employee firefighters last week.
