Dover Sen. Bonini files for reelection

Posted

DOVER — Sen. Colin Bonini, a Dover Republican, filed for reelection to the 16th Senate District on March 15.

Sen. Bonini has been a consistent conservative voice in the General Assembly during his 27-year tenure, according to an announcement.

“We live in unprecedented times and now, more than ever, we need a common sense, conservative voice in our state senate,” he said. “My record is clear; I have stood for the rights of Delawareans and for accountability in our state government.”

The announcement stated that Sen. Bonini is consistently ranked as one of the most fiscally responsible legislators in the General Assembly. He has been recognized by numerous organizations, receiving the Guardian of Small Business Award from the National Federation of Independent Business and being named the Food Bank of Delaware’s Legislator of the Year.

“I am very blessed and thankful to serve the people of the 16th District, and I look forward to continuing that service,” he said.

The 16th District includes Magnolia, south Dover, Frederica, Camden and Wyoming.
