A 17-year-old Dover male was arrested Wednesday in connection with the robbery at an apartment complex last weekend, police said.
The Dover Police Criminal Investigation identified the male as a suspect after an incident Sunday in the Woodcrest Apartments parking lot at approximately 10:43 p.m. He was taken into custody at home without incident, spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.
The male was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy and released to his parent on $10,000 unsecured bail.
Police said earlier that three suspects had entered a vehicle, produced a handgun and demand that the victim turn over property. The victim turned over an undisclosed amount of money, a payment card, and a cell phone.
Three suspects then fled in an unknown direction. The robbery at 892 Woodcrest Drive was reported at 5 p.m. Monday, police said.
