Ladies’ Prayer Breakfast

Trinity UMC East New Market

Trinity United Methodist Church in East New Market holds the following services every Sunday: 9:45 a.m. Sunday School for children of all ages. Adult Bible Study for adults of all ages also. There is a class for everyone. 11 a.m. worship service for children and adults of all ages. There is also a nursery for the little ones if needed. The church is at 6 Cambridge Ave. in East New Market.

Old Trinity Church

Old Trinity Church has regular services on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Church of the Nazarene

Sunday school is 10-10:30 a.m. Worship is 10:45 a.m. Reverend Richard Prahl, Lead Pastor will be preaching on Isaiah 42:6 and Revelation 1:8, “Advent (Hope, Love, Joy and Peace).” There will be special music by Gilbert Griffith, and the worship team. Communion Sunday.

Faith Baptist Fellowship

Nov. 29, 6:15 p.m. - Intercessory Prayer Meeting, Prayer Warriors welcome; 7 p.m. - A Bible study on the season of Advent, Rev. Blackmon, teacher; 8 p.m. - Choir practice.

Dec. 3, 9:30 a.m. - Adult Sunday School Class; 11 a.m. - Worship and Kids’ Church (ages Kindergarten - 5th grade). Childcare available for children birth through age 4.

Sunnyside Alliance Church

Sunnyside Alliance Church holds worship service on Sundays beginning at 10:30 a.m. There is a food pantry, usually open on the first and third Mondays of the month from 5:30-7 p.m. Call 410-943-8413.

Christ Episcopal Church

Christ Episcopal Church, Cambridge, will have Holy Eucharist Service, Sunday at 9 a.m. 

Nov. 29, Holy Eucharist in the Chapel, 12-12:15 p.m. with book club in Barber Hall at 12:30 p.m.

Dec. 2, 5 p.m., church members will participate in the Cambridge Christmas Parade with a cookies, brownies and hot chocolate table on High Street.

Dec. 6, 12-12:30 p.m. Holy Eucharist in the Chapel.

Immanuel UCC

Sunday Worship Service at 10 a.m. in person or via Zoom. Children’s Church following children’s message by pastor. Everyone is welcome.

Souls Harbor Church of God

Sunday morning worship service at Souls Harbor Church of God will begin at 10:30 a.m. and children’s services are on hold temporarily.

Zion UMC

Zion United Methodist Church, 612 Locust St., Cambridge, holds weekly Sunday worship services at 11 a.m. Use the Glasgow Street entrances for easy access and plenty of parking. Services are also aired on Facebook and the website: ZionUMCambridge.org. Zion UMC has many opportunities available such as Bible studies, soup days, missions and more.

Annual Christmas Bazaar Dec. 2, 9 a.m. until noon. All activities will be in Garrettson Hall. Members will have their Sweet and Savory Bake table. Santa's Christmas gift shop will include new, gently used and vintage items. The Kid's Korner will have activities and shopping for children. Zion's kitchen will have quart-size chicken noodle or vegetable beef carryout soups and biscuits for sale after 10 a.m., for $8 each. Bethel A.M.E. Church

Bethel AME Church is located at 623 Pine St., Cambridge. First Baptist Church of Cambridge

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

On the first Tuesday of every month at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 303 Main St. in Hurlock, bluegrass jams are held from 7-10 p.m. All bluegrass musicians and fans are invited. Donations are accepted for the benefit of the Food Bank.

Waugh Chapel

Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 425 High St., Cambridge, is open for worship services on Sundays at 10 a.m. All are welcome. Face masks are highly requested for those who are not vaccinated. The services can also be found on the church’s Facebook page. Bible Study is every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. by Zoom or calling in.

The River

One Mission Cambridge

Prayer and Praise Service every Tuesday at 11 a.m., Mission Center at 614 Race St., Cambridge.
Contact information Krista Pettit, 443-521-6825. One Mission is a collaboration of Dorchester churches that have come together to fill a need in the community. Volunteers, donations of food and cash are needed.

Salvation Army Cambridge

The Salvation Army of the Mid-Shore has a Day Shelter Inclement Weather hotline.

Should the need arise to provide day shelter in times of inclement weather or severe temperature concerns, church members will update the hotline with information on the details regarding the shelter services that will be available. Call 410-228-2442 ext. 1012.
