Dorchester high schools announce athletes of the month
North Dorchester High School’s varsity Athlete of the Month awards, sponsored by Farm Creek Insurance, went to wrestler Lewis Stafford, a senior, and sophomore Areynia Taylor, a stalwart of the girls’ basketball team. Aiden Johnson, also a sophomore, picked up the Junior Varsity award, sponsored by Premier Cinema, for his contribution to the basketball team.
Both of C-SD's awards went to juniors. Basketball player Destiny Johnson received the girls’ award, while Te’kai Drummond picked up the boys’ recognition for his performance in indoor track.
