DelDOT: Woodland Ferry to resume service Monday

Posted

SEAFORD – The Delaware Department of Transportation announced Friday that the Woodland Ferry will reopen to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Monday, Sept. 16 and resume normal service hours.

On Aug. 20, DelDOT announced the historic ferry linking Seaford/Woodland and Laurel would remain closed into mid-September. The delay in reopening was due to a longer than expected lead time for engine parts, necessary for the rebuild of the ferry engine.
