MIDDLETOWN — The Department of Transportation will hold a public workshop Sept. 12 about the project at Boyds Corner Road, Cedar Lane and U.S. 13.
The event will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Alfred G. Waters Middle School, 1235 Cedar Lane Road.
The construction is needed to accommodate development and will include the widening of Boyds Corner Road to provide an additional lane in each direction, the buildout of multiuse paths on both sides of the road and intersection improvements to boost safety and encourage a multimodal environment.
At the gathering, the department will present the scope of its work and the project schedule.
