DelDOT announces Capital Transportation Program meeting

The Delaware Department of Transportation is encouraging interested residents to get involved with its Capital Transportation Program for fiscal years 2023-28 and its Transportation Improvement Programs for 2022-25.

The virtual meetings will include information on projects being considered for the programs. The meetings also will include details on capital investments for DART First State.

The public is invited to provide additional comments and perspectives on the state’s transportation needs over the next 25 years.

The meetings are jointly sponsored by DelDOT, the Council on Transportation, the Wilmington Area Planning Council (WILMAPCO), the Dover/Kent County Metropolitan Planning Organization, Sussex County and the Salisbury/Wicomico MPO.

The first meeting was held Wednesday. The second meeting is scheduled for Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
